Unfortunately, I developed a cough and a temperature over the last few days, and it didn’t go away in time for today’s (Monday’s) chemo session. I’ve tested covid-negative twice during this period, so we don’t think it’s that.
I just wanted to let you guys know in case you were fervently praying for the chemotherapy to go well… I could ask you to pray next week. 🙂
I’ve always been concerned something could postpone a cycle. I usually mask up and keep my self distant, but apparently I got a bug somewhere.
I’ll try and rest up and get healthy enough for next week.
CT Scan
Last week we got to meet with the oncologist and review the CT scan. It was very helpful. We looked at the images, and even from a layperson’s point of view, the tumor does appear to have decreased in size.
My oncologist said that everything is going well and is the blueprint for how things should go. I have minimal/manageable side effects to the chemo, and it seems to be having an effect on the tumor.
My marker numbers continue to decline (that’s good) on the two most-watched blood reports.
In my oncologist’s own words, “I have no bad news for you, Peter”.
So praise God for all that.
Resting
Okay, I’m going to rest up and get healthier so I can be ready for next week. Thanks for your support and for following.
P
Glad to hear that all signs are pointing in a positive direction. Will continue to lift you in prayer. Let me know if there’s anything you need?
