This whole crew was asking why I was taking photos. I broke down and told a half lie to inquisitive Sam. I said a friend recently had been diagnosed with cancer and it made me realize I wanted photos with my friends because you never know what's going to happen. He asked how long have I known this friend. I said pretty much my whole life. I felt like a jerk pseudo-lying. Later when I revealed that I was the "friend," he had a good laugh and was gracious as we talked about our faith and illness and life
